Cancer Treatment Centers of America Clinical Pathways by Eviti program

Cancer Treatement Centers of America is a merge of Allscripts and NantHealth. NantHealth’s clinical decision making support is known as eviti and they are going to allow access to Allscripts Sunrise electronic health record. Cancer Treatment Centers of America is hopeful that by implementing this access hundreds of oncologists from across the united states will have cancer treatment information readily available to them on this network. This clinical pathways program helps provide oncologists with proper cancer treatment suggestions. This program is constantly updated with new vital information which helps eliminate some of the guesswork doctors need to make for treatment options.

Clinical Pathways was created by eviti with cancer treatment centers of America patients in mind. It provides patient specific treatment options, comparisons between the treatments that are available to each patient, immediate order entry, as well as up to date information on treatment side effects and precautions. This allows for patients to discuss, in depth, their care options with their oncologist and decide which one they would prefer to try. Cancer treatment centers of America, NantHealth and Allscripts began working on the Clinical Pathways project in 2016. It provides evidence-based treatment processes for over 2,700 cancers to physicians. Once a treatment is selected oncologists can immediately go to Allscripts and integrate eviti treatments with Sunrise. Clinical Pathways is currently avaialbe for physicians to utilize at all five of the cancer treatment centers of America locations.

Cancer treatement cetners of America is head quartered in Boca Raton, Florida and they were founded in 1988. There are five cancer treatment center hopsitals across the United States. The other cancer treatment centers of America locations are in Zion Illinois, Tulsa Oklahoma, Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Goodyear Arizona, and Newnan Georgia.
