G’day to all Pomona, Aussies. It’s been so many years now. I am a Pomona, California, USA Fireman. Along with a Pomona, California, USA Police Officer, Mike Price, we were guests of Stan and Jude Topper during the “King of the Mountain” festivities. Stan, Jude, Simon, Adam and Mark were premier hosts, as they paraded us around from one fascinating location to the next. We were also accompanied by Doug Bettens and his wife Marg. I was also in Pomona, QSL on the weekend that the park was dedicated in Stans name. I hope within the very near future, I can return to the magic and friendliness of Pomona and it’s wonderful residents. Bye the way……, does Bill still have his chooks?? Gympie flood caused many probblems for alot of people
*At least 60 houses and 130 shops were under water
*The Peak of the Gympie flood was 21.95 metres.
*The main Mary Street mall was under several metres of water.
*Flooding caused The Bruce Highway north and south of Gympie to be closed in several places
